Wake up with essential oils - get energized
October 6th, 2007    Subscribe To Our FeedFeeling tired in the middle of the day? You could be sleep deprived, so aim to get more sleep. In the meantime, essential oils can help to wake you up and give you a quick boost of energy without the letdown you get after drinking coffee.

It’s well known that aromatherapy oils can quickly boost your energy levels - but what’s the scent that sends energy soaring? “One drop of peppermint oil and two of lime,” says Sandra Cox, aromatherapy expert at Boots. She recommends adding this to a tissue and inhaling it whenever you need to wake up.
Other oil synergies which can wake you up include:
* 2 drops of lavender and one drop of basil on a paper tissue or handkerchief;
* 2 drops of geranium and two of basil in an oil burner;
* 2 drops of pine and one of rosemary on a paper tissue - tuck it into your pocket, or leave it on your desk.
